Up Up and above!!!

I ever wondered if I can fly. I am not an adventurous kind of a person. So getting airborne was out of my imagination.
However I finally made up my mind to go for parasailing.
Me and my friend Narendra were all set for the adventure.

Scene 1:
I called up Narendra after getting his email about it.

"Hey Narendra! When are we going for parasaling?"
"Umm.. How about this sunday?"
"OMG. So soon!!!"
"Chal yaar. It would be fun".
"Ok..."

Scene 2:
"Hey Narendra!!! Kiti vel lagel tula anhi. It is already 10:30 Am. We have to reach there by 12:30 pm". I was very anxious. For the past one hour I was waiting at the Majestic bus stand for Narendra.
"khaarrrr, khrrrr< !- - courtesy BSNL connection --!>Are ata nighalo ahe. khrrrr....< !- -inaudible again --!>I will be there in 20 mins."
"OK!!"

I was thinking "Why people opt for cheaper mobile services against better service!!!" Any ways he could make out it was me. So the communication was made.

He landed on that Majestic stand at 11:30 am. So Bangalore traffic was awake on sunday mornings too. Hats off to you Bangalore!!!

Scene 3: Jakkur aerodrome.
I could see many birds flying over there. A close inspection revealed those birds were not birds but human beings. I was thrilled with the mere idea of leaving the ground and flying.
We registered over there and got the passes.
I was telling my self "This is your last chance. You can return back." I some how controlled my self.

Soon it was my turn. I was so excited. I was having goosebumps. Narendra was ready with his camera. He took as many snaps as possible.

The straps were tied and the other end of the rope was tied to a jeep.
The jeep was racing away and so was my breath. My heart started pounding heavily.
Suddenly the instructor instructed me ,"RUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!". I started running.

I left my hand off the straps. It was no longer needed to hold it by hands. I was running ahead and then ..... I took off. I was an human kite.

I was in the air. OMG. I was flying. I was going up, up and above.
That was a miraculous moment.

Up there was a serene calm. That 360ยบ panaroma was breathtaking.
The horizon which was curved till yesterday suddenly turned in to a circle.
There was no fear, no thoughts in my mind. I was enjoying each and every moment at that time.

Soon I realised that I was descending. The jeep had already halted at the other end. The landing was quite smooth. I landed like a feather.

Next was Narendra. He too enjoyed the flight. It was a lifetime experience for both of us.

On my way back home the sky was just replayed in my mind, again and again.

Truely awesome!!!

English is a funny languages!!!
So are the peoples!!!

Well this is what Javed Jaffery might have said.
But English surely is a funny language. so are the people using it improperly.(Is this the correct usage, Well I am not sure. Anyways who cares?)

So here is small incident. My rommie Abhilash told me.

During our engineering days we had assignment submissions. Just before Viva submissions students used to gherao Ma'ams for corrections. On a summer afternoon we had a similiar procession going on in the physics lab. People had surrounded the only babe Ma'm of the college.

Suddenly WHAM!!!

Lights gone. No electricity. The atmosphere suddenly got explosive. Everybody started feeling sweaty.

In a feat of excitement the Ma'am exclaimed "I am hot!!! Please come one by one!!!"
No points for guessing the students had a better knowledge of English.

God damn no body took it seriously.
I mean the English language.

Ganapati Bappa Morya!!!

This is my first post. I never thought i would blog. But then there is always a first time for everything.

The title here is nothing but a praise to lord Ganesha. During begining of anything new I have a habit of doing it. Although I am not devout religious person I still believe it brings good luck.

But this is what comes from within when you are brought up in a typical middle class Maharashtrian family.

'Lost in Bangalore'
Yeah!!! I am lost here. Being from Mumbai I feel completely alien.
Mumbai is heaven. After nothing is as good as your hometown. I am missing it.
Well there is lots to be written and read.

This is too much for a first blog.

So here it is : My first Blog.
Hope I would post some nice things.
